Blood, bird, broccoli, burned out, bittorent, and other (appropriate) words that start with a B

Sooo first dadoo and I went to Costco and Smiths to pick up some foods. I'm going to be making stuffed chicken breasts and Broccoli Rabe tomorrow. It looks really good so I'm hoping everything will turn out.

Then we went out to donate blood (Mmmm blood). Dad wasn't allowed to donate because it's still to soon, so he provided me with moral support. It was actually pretty fun to see the dude stick that needle under your skin and see the blood gush into the little tube. I got quite a few compliments about the quality and speediness if my blood...I guess that's a good thing.

After devouring multiple cookies we went to the pet store and.... got a new bird! The little guy is greenish-yellow (I was planning on blue but this guy was sooo cute!) I'll post a picture in the near future.

Agent Muffin and the pink paper of doom!

Today has been yet another spiffy day!

It started out pretty slow, but the action really started to pick up during 3rd period... all was well at first, when suddenly I was given the dreaded pink paper of death! I had been summoned to the counseling center (oh no!). My friends Chandera and Eli begged me not to go, I replied “I will go and do the things which the pink paper hath commanded me”… moments later I was far away from the safety of the classroom, my footsteps echoed down the hallway... I walked past Digger Dan who stood ominously in front of the doorway... the Janitor dude drove by in his golf cart of doom to unclog a toilet, wax the floor, or maybe even pick up garbage!.... some random kids ditching class ran by, ignorant of the awful fate that awaited me... Then I walked into the Counseling Center, the lady at the desk directed me to the office of.... Mr. Vargas! dun dun dun! He had some terrible news: I didn't make it into the tech center, so I had to add a few classes to my schedule. (Oh no, the horror!) So I picked up the yellow packet of doom and added Psychology, physics, volleyball, drawing II, and some other class. Then I confidently handed him my newly filled out registration card, signed out, and went back to class.

Mission accomplished...

Jack Bauer saves the day again with help from me!...I think!

The other night I had an awesome dream:
I was just chillin' in the church bathroom for some reason unbeknownst to me. Suddenly Jack Bauer rushed in and pushed me against the wall and asked "where is it?". I replied in a cool manner "_____" (I don't know what I told him but it must have been the location of something very important) He then ran out his usual awesome way... Then I woke up and got ready for school.

...This has to the coolest dream ever!

Worms, magnets, ipodless guy, and a dead parakeet... Just another day in the life of the Muffin.

Today, like all days, has been great.... okay maybe more like 95% great.

First, the bad news: Emo the blind parakeet has at last gone to that place in the sky full of millet, shiny things, and stuff to chew on... Poor Emo :(
(Although according to Katie, Emo must have committed suicide)...(if you didn't get that joke well... You must too old to understand) :P

Anyway...
I'll start off with the ride to school this morning: I sat next my friend Jeff and discussed our Spring Break. Then I noticed something strange... He didn't have his good friend Jeffpod with him! So I asked "Jeff where is your Ipod, did it die? Did you forget to charge the battery? Is it lost in the abyss of lost pods?" (At this point my Sarahpod discovered it was very sad and alone today... Poor Sarahpod) Then he pulled out a small velvet bag full of pointless yet very shiny magnets, and gave me two (He had picked them up on his vacation to warm and sunny St. George). He had left the Jeffpod behind to keep it safe from these dangerous weapons of mass Ipod destruction.

... Then I was off to Biology!(...after chatting with my "peeps" and quoting Napoleon Dynamite several times) We dissected worms, and discovered the wonders of these fascinating creatures that eat, poop, and make little worms for their entire insignificant lives.

The moral of the Blog is: Don’t name your bird Emo, worms are boring, and magnets (no matter how shiny and pointless) are a threat to all Podkind.

Have a great day everyone!

One of the 3 Nephites has been in the 9th Ward all along! *gasp!*

Whoo today is Easter Sunday! Our guest speaker (and also my Sunday school teacher), Bro. Zimmerman, gave the coolest lesson ever in Young Womens today. This guy is like one of the 3 Nephites or something. Sometimes he'll just drop the lesson plan because he feels inspired to talk about something else. It's so flipping cool because sometimes he'll say something that I feel like I really needed to hear. One of these days I'm going to catch this guy sneaking the sword of Laban and the lost pages out of the trunk of his car.

Anyway, I'm off to write a letter to my favorite Bother/Missionary! Have an awesome day my spiffy family and friends!

Another splendiferous day in the life of The Muffin

Okay so today started off pretty slow, mostly just sitting around and watching stuff on Stupid videos (www.stupid videos.com). Then the dad and I made a trip to the office, Costco, Home Depot, and some place on the west side to get parts for the washing machine. (Again).
Oh, I almost forgot we also picked up a pretty nifty swivel chair at the office which I am currently sitting in. It makes feel me so important, it's as if I could patronize some lowly person who resides in a box office, and say big important sounding things like: tax exemption, anomalous, and the accuracy of endnotes and bibliographic listings.
...Anyway! I think I'll go compose metaphors of commerce mechanisms and linear algorithms.

I desiderate you to procure a splendiferous zenith!

Okay so I guess this is my first actual post. (that last one didn't really count)

Anyway, since this is the time when most people (including me) are on Spring break, I'll give you a few things to amuse yourself with all that extra time.
